There are no explanations but if you’d like a quick reference to see if a bird you saw and/or documented was accepted then this is one place you can look. Keep in mind the years listed are the year in which the record was reviewed, not necessarily the year you saw the bird. For example, a King Eider found and documented in December of 2010 would not be reviewed until some time in 2011.
